This wing tool / scratch, marking compass has unique design and developed in two different locking mechanisms:

“A” and “C” has self locking type
“B” and “D” has wheel locking type

On both compasses you can adjust the distance between 0 to 20 mm

Also there are two types of metals they’re manufactured from:

“A” and “B” are made from titanium alloy
“C” and “D” are made from stainless steel
